Weekly Winners

After 3 years of trying to take steady photos I finally bought a tripod

smock-16

And was at  long last able to take a photo of my nails without creating an elaborate book & pillow stack to hold my camera at just the right angle

Note to self – no more home French manicures

I was able to get this shot of my afternoon snack

And this of Asoka & the Red Queen squabbling over just who owns the throne.

We had the Pinewood Derby this past weekend

Havoc’s car, a Clone luge

Book and stack? That was me before my tri-pod! The pine wood cars are awesome! When my boys were in scouts it was one of our favorite events!

I adore my tripod...it was the only was I was able to get decent photos of my Christmas tree without all the blurriness. Such cute scenes with the legos =)

Stopping by from Sits. Looks alot like my house. I can't even begin to count the number of action figures that reside with us. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Nice pics & tripod! Love the Derby cars - we just had ours last weekend. I think the Dad's enjoy it most - they have a separate race for them after - on the $5000 track! YIKES!

That's a nice tripod :-) I sort of have a tripod. You might not recognise it as a tripod - it looks rather like an alien from Men In Black, and is of limited use, being only about 5 inches tall. It's very portable, though.
